Not a chance. Looks like they're trying to imitate Old School and Animal House, and failing miserably at it.

How is that like Animal House and Old School (which are both about college and frat houses) except that it involves drinking?
If anything its like Jean-Claude Van Damme's Bloodsport with beer instead of fighting to the death.

MTV played a 5 minute clip of the movie and was hilarious. I loved Animal House, which yes I saw in the early eighties. I will definitley go and see Beerfest.
Just saw Beerfest (it was a sneakpeek) and got to say it wasn't the best movie but it was still pretty fun. Bring on the Das Boot!
Super troopers was great, so i will probably see beerfest, although it probably won't be that good.
Super troopers bored the hell out of me I couldn't finish it....I rather rot before I watch beerfest.

i just saw it today, oh my God i never laughed so hard this year...this is by far one of my favourite movies of the year...
