I went from X to 13 pro but tempted to see if I can handle 13 pro max

Went from X to the 13PM, and I’m loving the larger screen. It’s bigger, but really not as big as some would have you believe.

I'm contemplating the same move. I'm taking my X into Apple tomorrow to have the battery replaced so I'll get to mess around with the new phones. I plan on keeping the X as a backup device but who knows maybe I'll walk out with a new primary device.

From X to the Pro and it’s a big phone. I hope I will get used to it, I can’t even think about the Pro Max 😟

Everyone is going to have a different opinion. Personally, I feel that the X/XS was a good size. I don’t understand why Apple thinks you have to have a continually growing phone size to acquire all the best features.
Absolutely, the X/XS/11 series was the perfect screen size

I went from 6s Plus to X and I was so happy. This year I've been considering Pro Max to replace my X but then I remembered how miserable I was. Want to type? Gotta use 2 hands. Want to swipe to go back? Reposition the phone.. Sure, screen and battery are great but it was just too uncomfortable.

I have a XS and I'm strongly considering a regular 13 Pro. I really like the XS, including the 5.8" screen. I still think 5.8" is the perfect size, and maybe even a tough too large.

If there was an iPhone mini with the features of the Pro, I'd absolutely buy that.

I went from the X to XS Max and returned it after 3 days. It was just way too big for me. I loved the screen real estate I just didn’t love using it and it was tough with one hand. Turned it for the XS and have stayed non pro-max since.

I am considering this too for screen and battery. I’ve had a 6s plus before. And despite having normal hands, was able to use it one handed, which is important to me. However that was not an edge to edge screen. What stops me from the max isn’t the price. It’s that when i see others using it. It looks comically large. It doesn’t feel that way when you use it. Also I don’t think it would fit in my pocket

I moved from 11 Pro and very unhappy with the extra thickness and sharp edges. Was happy to be getting rid of my old phone as the battery was becoming impossible to deal with and it stopped accepting a charge with the Lightning adaptor (wireless charging only for the past 6 months) but this is the first time I'm actually considering whether or not to keep a new Iphone. I want the better camera but I spend a lot of time with my phone in my hand and if it's going to bug me to carry it I might be better off with a thinner and smoother 12 and dealing with the difference in the camera.

I would gladly swap the claimed extra 2 hours of battery life for the thinner form factor.

I’m a mini user. I always have liked the idea of the max for the extra size and battery, but every single time I’m outside and 1 hand my phone, I realize I’m not ready to give that up. I’ve tried the larger phones on a few different occasions and always end up with the smallest size offered.

Reachability is your friend

went from XS to 13PM, but then again I was constantly rocking a note 10 plus at the same time so.....

I went from iPhone X to 13 Pro Max. I was worried it would be too big, but I think it’s a good size. It’s not as tall as I worried it would be. It has a good width that I appreciate as the keyboard is more spread out so my hands don’t feel so cramped when typing.

I got one of my kids a standard 13. I think I would’ve been happy with that size also, but I am happy I got the Max. Granted, it’s only been 1 day of experience.

My wife went from an X to 13 pro max and she rarely makes a comment(most of the time to her it’s just a phone) but she said the phone screen size is perfect and the experience is silky smooth

The problem is not the size, it’s the weight.

that’s what I thought when my max landed yesterday. Today I went out to apple store and bought the same spec regular pro and it’s not much lighter in the hand, although the smaller size is easier to handle….. that 6.7 screen is sweet though and the speakers are a bit better on the max. Just gotta decide which one to return now 🤣
