Received my IUP trade in kit last Thursday. Sent out via FedEx Friday. Apple in CA received it today and just got the email that it was inspected and the loan was closed. Yay!

I was nervous cause the label mid-shipment was replaced. I had to deal with a stolen iPhone during an Apple Care Express Replacement, but luckily zero issues this time.
Mine was replaced mid shipment too! Had my a little worried but it got to where it was going and was accepted also.

Anyone ever have issues with trade in values? My phone has some slight chips in the finish on the corners but no cracks or other scratches/issues so I'm hoping I'll get the quoted value.

Any one have one sent to Jeffersonville Indiana? The UPS store here refused to take the return, stating that there was a scam associated with that address. They opened the kit and gave my phone back to me, they also kept the empty return kit. I spoke with Apple support and they weren't aware of any issues, and resent me another kit. Apple seems to think that UPS had some bad information.....

After unsuccessfully attempting to trade my phones in at my local Apple Store (they were unable to process a post-purchase trade-in, since two weeks have passed since I placed the order. Long story.), I decided to take a chance and send them in, using the trade-in kits. I took close-up videos of both phones, clearly showing that there is no damage of any kind, as well as actually putting each phone in the box and sealing it. The phones arrived at the facility in Carlisle, PA this morning. Looks like I cleared the initial “package lost in transit” hurdle. Fingers crossed that the trade-in partner (Phobio?) doesn’t claim that I sent damaged phones.

Did an in store pickup on release day. Carrier w/ trade in. Received a trade in kit but wanted to go in person. Went to the store today, it's been 11 days since, so 3 days left till the cutoff. They took my trade in no problem and was able to automatically link it to my other order. Took no more than 10 min and I got receipts and everything.

I got my kit yesterday. Packed and handed over to FedEx today.

I have done this 3 times before with now issues. I will be nervous until I get the notification from Apple that all is well.

My series 7 and 14 pro were sent to the Jeffersonvilel, IN location. No issues at all and I got the confirmation today that all is good and the refunds will be applied within 3 days.

They were sent through FedEx. Maybe that made a difference, but I’m not sure. This is the 4th time I believe that I’ve done the trade-in’s through the mail and I haven’t had any issues thus far.

I just opened my second kit to send my phone back, and it's different than the first one I received. It looks like it is
for the apple watch. Now I am really confused....

I received my trade in box which was exactly the same as it has been the past 2 years. I received on Thursday, via UPS, UPS stated it was received on Monday and shortly after got an email from Apple stating device was received and it could take up to 3 days to verify trade. about 6 hours later received email from Apple that Trade was completed and please allow up to 5 days for credit. Credit was processed that night and Yesterday morning got notification from Goldman Sachs Apple card that I received my full credit. I have to stated that is by far the quickest it has ever happened.

My trade-ins were delivered to the Carlisle, PA location at 11:15 AM yesterday. Apple status shows that both were received by trade-in partner and will be evaluated soon. Hopefully I’ll get an update by tomorrow.

UPDATE: My trade-in (14 Pro) has been evaluated and I received the full trade-in value. My wife’s (13 Pro) is still being evaluated.

UPDATE 2: My wife’s phone was evaluated yesterday (10/7) and I was credited the full trade-in value.

UPDATE: I shipped my phone last Monday (10/9). UPS tried again to stop me from shipping, but I insisted and they caved. I was credited the full trade-in value on Saturday. Thank you everyone for your feedback.:)

Hmm my box is arriving today, thinking about just dropping by the apple store and asking in person.
Hmm I think I'll try the Apple store as well. I figure it's a bit of luck of the draw as to whwther a given employee will accept the trad ein. It would be worth it not to have to deal with any BS from the trade in company or a lost package, damage in transit etc.
