I don't know what school you guys go to but at mine I'm able to purchase Adobe Creative and Design Suite Premium (CS4) on disc for $20.00 total.

I going to try and pick it up as I hope it might fix a couple of Quicktime and burning related issues I am running into with 10.5.

I'm moving out of my apartment on Friday, so it will be a bit of a pain to get it though. Have to say though, its going to be funny pulling into the Braintree mall (semi-fancy mall in MA) with a uHaul truck just to get Snow Leopard. :p

I'm moving back home, where the closest Apple Store is over an hour away and I have no car. yay me!

For anyone that's worried about possible upgrade issues, Engadget have a rather rough review up.

I'll be picking up SL on Monday methinks. I can't afford the £8 P&P this week. :D

I will pick it up ASAP, like tomorrow or early next week, because there is an Apple reseller like 200 meters from home, and I will be moving next week to another country where the nearest Apple reseller is about 10km from where I will be staying.

But I shall wait until 10.6.1 or 10.6.2 to actually upgrade my MacBook. And when I upgrade, it will be a fresh install and copy the backed up data from Time Machine.

gonna wait a few weeks. just got my MBP in July and the uptodate discount is good til december so i'll see how things go for everyone.

perfectly happy with regular 10.5.7 as of right now :) runs like a charm

I really don't get this, its $9.95 via the up-to-date program, why not just get it? You wouldn't have to install it right away...

I have mine already pre-ordered, though I'll probably not get to install it on my MBP until sometime over the weekend.

At least in my testing, both PS and AE CS3 work just fine.

Have you noticed an INCREASE in render time using AE? I tested a project that took 2 hours to render on 10.5. I was hoping that the render time would decrease in 10.6 but instead it increased to twice as long!!!

Very disappointing results... :( I don't know if it is related to GCD or QTX/QT7 or what.

Running AE CS4 on 10.6
