just called Tyson's store to ask when they'll have the 160gb...they said "No idea"
I don't understand how they have no idea, doesn't Apple at least have shipping dates for this stuff in their inventory system?
I just stopped by the Cambridge, MAstore, and they claim that the 160GB model won't be coming in until mid- to late-September.
They had bundles of 80 gigs, though.
The BB in that same mall had a nearly empty MP3 player section, leading me to believe that they're either making room for new ones, or they're just the suckiest electronics store ever. Either way, no iPods there.Do you know if the best buys are carrying the 80gb classics yet? The cambridge apple store is a bit farther for me.
I just got an iPod Classic from Meadowhall, UKThey only had the 160gb silver model... i wasn't sure what colour to get, so that made the decision for me

I saw a 160GB Classic on display at the Regents Street store and some Nanos. They have the Nanos available but were sold out on the classic...."Check back next week" they said.
Speaking of which i noticed the UI on the Classic was kinda slow sometimes taking up to 2 seconds to respond to clicks. Whereas the Nano seemed fine.
Out of curiosity does anyone know if the 160gb version is thicker than the 80gb? Like the 80gb was thicker than the 30gb in the previous generation?
