My target has iPhones in stock. Just wondering what the cons are or any bad experiences there are if I bought the x from them.

Anyone have bad experiences buying iPhones from target?

How do you know in-stock? All I can see if "limited availability" (or explicit 'out of stock').
I called the store closest to me that had limited stock and they said the have them
I bought my X from Target on launch day. No issues with the phone itself if that's what you're asking
BUT
you will have to update your phone plan or pay for a new line. If you're a 'buy outright' person like me, you'll be forced to pay for a payment plan. What you can do after you get the phone is just pay off the phone and ask(force?) customer service to put you back on your original plan.
The good thing about the iPhones from places like Target and Best Buy is that they have to work with all the major carriers so these phones are factory unlocked and are of the Qualcomm variety.

Glad you said this so I have a question for you. I have att and I wanna get the Verizon phone for Qualcomm and I wanna pay the phone in full right at purchase can I do that???
I'm with AT&T and what I did was buy the phone and put it on a new plan (since I had to in order to get the phone). I went home, got on the AT&T website, and paid the phone off in full. After that, I called AT&T and asked them to put me back on my old plan since I never wanted to change it in the first place. They were pretty cool with that and changed me right back. I had an old plan that is not in available right now too
Damn I just want to pay the phone in full without doing those extra things lol
Yeah, they won't let you. It's worth it, especially since you get the Qualcomm version
