I have drops using airplay on my iPhone.

If I stream from my Mac using Airplay I don’t get the drops.

think Ill stay away from this update for a few weeks to see if others have issue.I believe its possible to drop back to old firmware if update has issues

Looks like the upgrade fixed audio dropouts in airport Express using optical connection!

I did the upgrade and started having intermittent internet access. It took quite a while with Apple support to iron things out. I did have some things wrong with my configurations prior to the update, but they didn't seem to trip me up until the update.

My TC restarts every couple of days. There is a possibility it’s not connected to the update, but the restarts started around the same time the update came out.

It is possible to downgrade firmware using AirPort Utility with a really simple but obscure trick.

  1. Open AirPort Utility
  2. Click the icon of your Express (or other Apple Airport Router or TC)
  3. Hold down the OPTION key and then put your mouse over the "version" number to gain an otherwise hidden drop-down of the firmware versions that you have available for a downgrade.
