I am planning to buy a Machenike T58-V laptop (RTX Series). Unfortunately, I am unable to find decent reviews about the brand and their latest 2021 RTX version.

These are the specs:
Intel i7 10th gen
32GB RAM
512 SSD
1TB HDD
RTX 3060
Price: ~USD1760

Is this a steal? Is machenike legit? It is from China which is why I am a little worried. There are reviews on the shopping site but I don't trust it lol.

Can you recommend me a good laptop similar to the specs and with reasonable price?

I wouldn't trust some unknown brand. Could be horrible build quality. The price isn't very good either. When you can get one of these for less and upgrade the RAM yourself.

I agree fully with @velocityg4.

The Machenike is a Chinese brand unknown in the rest of the world and (as far as I can see) only sold by AliExpress and the likes. No reliable warrantee to fall back on, communication with China will be hopeless, also sending it back in case of defects etc. will be cumbersome to say the least.

Also USD1760 is not a steal at all. Well known brands like Asus, HP, Acer, Lenovo etc. are in about the same price range. As already said, choose one of those brands with upgradeable RAM and SSD for around the same price and you are much better off in all respects.

Thank you for your inputs. I am glad that I did not purchase it yet.

I love MacRumors for having this kind of people!

Btw, thank you for these recommendations.
