Is this for a traveling remote? If you want to find it in your home a far better option is to use your iPhone. The AirTag will show you it's on-premisis, but using an iPhone narrows it down to which couch cushions it's between, or under.

No, it's for home. I just really like the Nomad TV cover and I'm trying to find another to buy. No one else makes them like that from what I've found.

I'm with you. My favorite case. It makes the ATV controller perfect. Nomad, if youre reading this, make more please. I will buy instantly. I have 2. One broken and doesnt hold the controller properly and one in my bedroom.

This one is not nearly as "elegant" as the Nomad cover, but I have one of these on all of my Apple TV remotes. It's hard plastic, and intended to pair with the SideClick universal programmable remote, but it includes a place for the AirTag to keep your remote handy via Find My if/when necessary. And it's only $10.

I have a similar cover, but it's from elago, made of silicone, and not leather

not sure what you're definition of "far better" is, but it's apparently much different than mine

the remote lacks the UWB chip that enables the AirTags precision finding.

with an AirTag (and a newer phone), you get an arrow pointing to the tag, and the distance you are from it

with the remote's builtin in finding you get "near" and "far" and that's it. Which is good if you're doing an episode of Sesame Street, but that's about it

not to mention the audible alert from an airtag while using precision finding!
