Well I presume he also has an iPhone, in which case he can link them together through personal hotspot and it would work.

That would be the only plausible explanation that I could think of.

I am jailbroken on my ipad1 4.3.1 and am getting the unknown error (0xE80080010) as well. Has anyone had any luck getting this ipa on their jailbroken ipad?

Do you have AppSync installed as well? You need to install that first, then you can install this through iTunes.

Why the faffing about? You can't install an App Store ipa (free or otherwise) if you don't have a patched MobileInstallation file (a-la AppSync).

The source is up on GitHub, you should be able to import it in to Xcode, compile it yourself and install it on your device.

I managed to compile the airspeaker.app, and it works!
Unfortunately i can't stream from my ipad to my ipod touch (2g), only from iTunes. Anyone else that have managed to get an audio-stream from the ipad to ipod/iphone?

Tested with my 2 iphone 4 and tested with iphone 4 to iphone 3gs....
Now only need to wait for jb my ipad2...

After installing on jailbroken iPhone 3GS running iOS 4.3.2 I get the following error while trying to stream video from itunes on PC:
An error occured while connecting to the AirPlay device "MyDevice".
An unknown error occured (405).
Make sure the AirPlay device is powered on and it's network settings are correct, then try again.

Additional important information:
I did succeed in installing the Airplay daemon from ticci.me/3Pu1 and that
enables me to have smooth audio streaming from iTunes to my same iPhone.
