I put an IS on my 5.5g a few weeks ago but I have a couple of bubbles on the back, and one is rather large. Is there anything I can do to get ride of them? I've tried squeezing them out with the plastic thing but I can't get them to go anywhere. I was thinking of popping the bubble with a needle...

I had one on my previous phone (then it got stolen ) and it was great. It was starting to discolor and peel though, so I was about to take it off and send it in for the free replacement (yay lifetime warranties), but then it was stolen. I replaced it with the same model phone, but I haven't gotten around to getting a new one yet. My screen is scratched now too. :(

P.S. if you get this one, those measurements were taken at MacWorld with my phone. :D

ahhhh my thread has been revived 6 months later!!!!!!!

I actually purchased an invisible shield for my 5G about a week after OP. It's definitely great and worth the money. I also bought a bestskinsever for my nano and that is really good too and alot cheaper. I would recommend either of these to everyone. I just hope that the iPhone will work with this type of shield. I want to keep that thing IMMACULATE:D

At the risk of sounding argumentative (which I'm really not ... just making conversation), why do people insist on putting cases and covers on their iPods? Why does it matter if it gets scratched - it's not a collector's item?

This whole pheneomenon has always been very odd to me. I have several very expensive guitars which are collector's items.... those I protect in a case at all times. But my iPod certainly isn't going to be with me more than a few years, at which point if it doesn't die on its own (as all electronics do over time) I will surely want a new one with more storage or newer features, etc.

So what's the big deal if it gets scratched? It's a music player - not a piece of jewelry. Besides, haven't you all heard... vintage is in. ;)

I am thrilled the IS on my 30gb Videopod. It's so nice to be able to throw it around with me anywhere now, and not worry about it being scratched. I decided that once I got a new iPod, and it had no scratches, I wanted to keep it that way.

People spend so much on a product that emphasizes appearance, they want to keep it looking it's best. The Invisible Shield or the Best Skin Ever is a great way to do this without comprimising the fashion appeal of the product.

Hm, I could be wrong or they must have changed. I guess another solution would be to see if someone would buy it for you, you send them a money order/concealed cash, then they ship to you.

I've not heard of anyone having any problems. Invisible shield recommend that you don't use you product (or power it on at all) for 24 hours (from memory) after application to ensure that it's dry.

Okay. Well I guess it will be fine.:) - I'll try it anyways :)
