Anyone having issues with Youtube adblockers not working anymore?

I'm on OS X 10.15.5 and NONE of my adblockers are working on Youtube anymore.

Any chance that Youtube is cracking down or that something changed in these Adblock reliability???

They’re blocking ads still for me. What they’re no longer doing for me using Brave is cutting out the void. So now I suddenly get 30 seconds of nothing sliced in my videos.

It’s an arms race. They’re blocked, defeated, blocked, defeated etc.

And thus the circle of life goes on.

What does an adblocker do? I’ve used YouTube Red for years so genuinely don’t know.

I'm using Wipr...so far it's the best, most unobtrusive adblocker I've ever tried. It blocks all YouTube and website ads, as well as trackers.

The name implies that it blocks ads? 🧐🤷‍♂️

It's still somewhat interesting that some ad blockers can block ads that are essentially part of videos, while the others don't offer that.

The ads are still being blocked for me with Wipr. However of late there is now a white screen before most videos with a "skip ads" box.
