Anyone here buy gift cards cheaper to buy apple products?

I've thought about looking into some Best Buy gift cards on ebay and other websites to save a little on Apple products. Anyone here do this and find it desirable? If so, where do you usually find the best deals and at what price points in gift cards do you find the best savings?

I'd be very wary of buying a gift card via eBay. There is too much opportunity for a scam.

I've never done it for physical items, but I've purchased iTunes cards at discount to get software at lower cost. Once in a while, $100 iTunes cards go on sale for as little as $80.

Right now: WH Smiths in the UK offers £40 worth of gift cards for £30.

eBay yesterday had $50 iTunes for $40 - sold over 20k cards last time I looked.

Sometime CL will have Apple Store Credit - meet at store and do transaction then spend money immediately or transfer to a different card. So they don't report card stolen.
