Anyone install the Google Android SDK? What are the steps?

    Im a bit confused on how I can install and program for the Google Android OS. Google has the SDK free for download, but I cant figure out what else I need to download/install.

    you need eclipse and then you can use the SDK

    Honestly, doesn't matter. Go grab the one for Java or Java EE or maybe even classic. Make sure you get the rest of the Android requirements.

    I haven't had any luck getting it to work.

    Apparently the emulator is real-good at seg faulting...

    ...

    Android documentation sucks. (Honestly it does.) Your best bet is finding a youtube vid on how to install it if you are having problems. There used to be one around back when I installed it since I too was having issues.
