Anyone into steam punk?

My best mate has shown me something called steam punk and I’m really interested in it so much that I’m starting to work on my own Photoshop: element steam punk project. I was just wondering if anyone was into it??

I find it very interesting. If I could weld, I'd be into it a lot more. I've made Steampunk-themed wallpapers for myself in Photoshop, yeah. It's really pretty cool in it's own way methinks.

Have you checked out any anime?

The main film that springs to mind is Steamboy by Otomo (of Akira Fame), whereas Akira was cyber-punk, Steamboy is steampunk, set in an pseudo-Victorian age Britain.

Also worth noting is Miyazaki's Laputa and also to some extent Howl's Moving Castle. Here are some images;
