Did they say anything about how much to expect from a 4k hdr movie file from itunes? I know the iPad Pro 12 isn t 4k, but it is hdr and has more pixels than a 1080p screen.. so I m wondering about file size because I m btw 256gb and 512gb

I suspect the best you'll be able to put on your iPad is a HD movie, so 3-4GB, I can't see that changing until there's a 4K iPad

UHD Blu Ray movies are usually 66GB and sometimes 100GB so far.

A normal Blu Ray movie would be 25 or 50 GB, while a 1080p iTunes movie could be 3.5 or 5 GB.

A DVD would be 4.7 or 9 GB, while an iTunes SD movie is 1 or 2 GB.

Newer formats in a family get more efficient compression.
