The Great White North Eh
Silly question, but my MP is out of phone support (the three month mark sucks) as I bought it in march, but it is still under warranty until march (or longer if I get applecare, which I am leaning toward). I just have a concern with my machine, namely the static on wake from sleep and the cpu heat-up during audio playback that I'd like to log with apple (logged the static issue back in march, I'd like to tell them it is recurring for the last 7 months or so). I know I can phone applecare, but IIRC they charge you if you're out of the three month period (correct me if I am wrong please). So is there a way I can get them to log it, without lugging this 41lbs beast to the applestore and hoping to reproduce the issues?

They won't log it just on your word. Sorry to say that I hope that you kept up on your weight lifting program because I think the only way to get :apple: to log it, is you taking in the 41 lb beast...
