Universal Anyone know of a audio sound input app and displays it as text

You can try the dictation service, which is built-in to your Mac system.

I tried dictation on the iPad it does not work with safari and Apple note app.
I think because it wants to record from the mike not the audio playing.
YouTube has a closed-caption (CC) button for most of the videos I see on there.
The question isn't really about "audio sound input" and that seems to be throwing responders off.

If you are talking about settings, accessibility and subtitles and capturing than with close caption option than does not appear to work in the app. I think only some apps support it.
