Hello. Does anyone know of a reliable/stable alternative for this power cable? Preferably with a sleeve, but not entirely necessary at this point.

I waited almost an entire month and nothing showed up and I cannot wait to try and purchase from China again, already loads behind waiting for this part.

Please help. Thanks in advance.

Bummer that it got lost. I think that's the same one I ordered and despite taking a couple of weeks to arrive it really is a high quality cable (I like the sleeve too).

Are you in the US? I don't want to assume since we have users here from all over.

Yep. Texas. I've been watching the tracking like a hawk, daily, and it finally started moving about a week ago. I agree that its high quality as it was referred to me by someone I know knows their parts, but I've been waiting to test out this 580 graphics card on a new computer I recently purchased and now the return window is lapsing so I'm going to be in a spot if everything isn't 100% when I do get to test it.

It looks like bookemdamo found a US-based cable for you.

But if you really need something immediately, you can use two existing Mac Pro GPU cables and an industry standard 2x6-pin to 1x8-pin adapter. In fact the adapter may have been supplied with your 580.

Okay. Thanks for the suggestions! I'm going to order something tonight. I've already filed for refund from original source which should might take up to 11 days. Take care all.

I ordered this cable from same seller a few weeks ago and I got it 2 days later (also in Texas). It is uglier than the sleeved one but it works.

Which one? The eBay cable? I just noticed that the moddiy cable takes up to 2 weeks to US as well. That's too long...

Yes the eBay one. Link provided by bookemdano. Sorry I hit reply on the wrong comment. I ordered it on 9/13 and got it 9/15. I was surprised and not expecting it until the following week.

Please to ask. Which video card are you using it with? You haven't had any issues...

I do not care what it looks like, just that it will work well during intensive video editing with the RX 580 Pulse. Thanks.

It will work fine with the RX 580 Pulse. All that matters is that both the cable I linked and RX 580 use an 8-pin PCI-E connector. You will not have any problem with that cable.

Great. That's the one I think I'll get then. Like I mentioned, don't really care what the aesthetics are, just that there won't be any problems when the system is under load. Thanks for the suggestion bro.

For what it’s worth, I followed h98’s advice (I think it was h98?) and just got an EVGA powerlink and two mini-6pin adapter cables. Works like a dream on my GeForce 1080.

I would love to be as resourceful and as trusting in my own skills as you guys and MacGyver a solution. Thanks for the tips.
