Anyone know Read/Write test in Raid 0 HDD?

I'm considering doing a raid 0 setup for my unibody cause I need the space and want to save a lot of money. Just wanted to compare raid 0 HDD versus one SSD SLC drive.. thanks!

in my machine, raid 0 speeds are basically duplicated, although doing the black magic test, this only shows up for big files, for smaller sizes, speed is the same. seems like the raid takes a few second to get top speed.

Here are the xbench values for my RAID0 setup (Macbook Pro late-2011, both drives SATA-III; Hardwrk SATAIII adapter; two Crucial M500 SSDs).
I can't say much on using RAID0, as currently I am booting just from one SSD and use the other as backup (CCC clone). But I've set up the RAID0-Set as next playground ... 🙂
