    Hi,

Thought I'd throw this wee question at you all...

I run a repair business, I'm open to all customers from the start saying that the parts I used are high quality but not official Apple products. All customers are more than happy with service and supply I offer.

Now a "new kid" has come in the block spouting that they use "genuine Apple parts".

Now I was under the impression that the only people that could fit Apple parts were Apple! The only people that could supply Apple parts were, Apple!

Another point is that my supplier mentioned this guys name and said that he's ordering from be same place as me - high quality copy screens!

Could someone clarify the ruling or does anyone have any information on this as I'm not having my business threatened by some mug who tries to blag the public

My out responses are very appreciated

You know that he is full of bs.
But nowadays anyone can claim anything they want.
You really think any regural joe schmoe is going to be able to tell if his screen replacement or any other part was really manufactured by Apple or not? All they care about is if it works and its priced good.
    False advertising at its best.

    Lol:D
Some times being too honest is not good.
I wouldn't advertise it as Apple original replacement parts but I wouldn't go up to every customer and explain that the part is unofficial either. If someone specifically asks I'd tell them its comparable to Apple original parts and has a warranty so if anything goes wrong and doesn't function right you will take care of it right away. Lots of times your reputation and the way you deal with customers makes all the difference.
