Anyone know what time the new iMacs will go live on the 30th?

Getting up at 5am to order my blue base iMac w/ full size keyboard & ethernet options....

Gonna be fun tracking your iMac shipping progress (like the M1 Mini or iPhone 12).

And when will there be a sticky for M1 iMac orders ???

Is it confirmed that April 30th @ 0800 EST is the time these are available to be pre-ordered?
 
I’d have expected the store to be down by now. The macrumors story reporting that it was down was earlier than this last week.

I’m sure it doesn’t mean anything, and it was probably earlier than usual last week.

And for those who confuse easily, I’m not crying about this, just observing. :)
 
Ah was just gonna post to ask this, will have to get one even if not ideal as current iMac running off external drive is now not working properly!

I'm not sure the store needs to go offline. That usually happens when new products are added. The new products are already there with pricing, just not able to add to a basket and checkout. We will see...

You are probably right, but it did go down last week before the airtags release.

To be honest, I can’t remember whether it usually does go offline before orders start.

AirTags (and the other new products announced at the Apple event) were new and not previously listed in the store. So the store went down pending the addition of the new products. Just like when the AirTags were listed but couldn't be ordered until last Friday (same with purple iPhone 12s) I think the products being able to be ordered today will simply become able to be added to a basket and ordered at the appointed time.
