anyone live in a small town and use a GPS app?

I live in Huxley, Iowa. A very very tiny town, and my Navigon app doesn't even know we exist. I'm thinking about buying TomTom but really don't want to spend $50 if it won't be any better.

Anybody here live out in the country and use a GPS app?
