Hi,

I want to get a M1 Mac Mini. However, the desk I want to put it on is rather small so it would be nice to mount it under the desk. Has anyone done this? Any issues? Which mount did you use, etc. I would probably also need to put one of my Samsung T7 drives under the desk for extra storage.

I would check for heat-related issues before I made the installation permanent.

I’ve not done it, however there are a lot of people on YouTube that seem to do that. If you look up M1 Mac Mini will find some, people also mount them to the back of there monitors aswell.

Thanks for the info. I will see if anyone has had issues with heating.

I won't be mounting it on the back of a monitor. This system would be a secondary device on a desk that I also use for small electronic devices (raspberry pi, Arduinos, etc.). So I have an A-B KVM switch to swap between the under desk computer and the on top of the desk test device.

However, that does bring up the question of does the mini play nice with an A-B KVM switch. Does anyone know?
