i'm visiting maine and my powerbook g4 just stopped working. it won't boot up, even from the install disc. it sounds like there's something loose inside- and when i click disc utility my hard drive won't show up.
now i can't get the install disc out.
love maine, but miss the convenience of popping into the apple store for help!
the closest place, according to apple help is 2 hours away and i'm going to drive there tomorrow... just wondering if anyone out there has had this problem.
time to buy a new computer, i suppose... so if you're reading this and have advice as to whether to upgrade to the 15in powerbook thats 7200 rpm and why/why not, it's much appreciated!
