after you put your windows disk in there were numerous partitions? partition 3 was the one you allocated for space. but there were others? one was unregistered and was about 200mb? and the other was maybe 16mb?

Yes they were there, I wouldn't worry about them.

Those are different wrappers for HFS+. Some are for OS9 drivers, UNIX compatibility, Journaling System, etc.
