iPhone 12 Pro Max Anyone noticed the screen is less smooth (harder to use "swype") and generally scroll through?

I came from an iPhone Xs and I just wondered, if anyone noticed that the screen on the iPhone 12 Pro Max screen has more friction? Like, it's harder to do swype gestures (helpful when you're one-handed) and generally scroll through a feed because when doing so the screen feels less smooth?

Maybe because of the ceramic shield?

Not a big issue but finding it harder to do swype messaging - swiping through letters when trying to type, for those who don't use it.

Thanks and hoping I'm not the only one, too. It's weird.

Oh, and my screen is ALWAYS clean. And no alcohol contact also - but that's for another thread.
 
I mean, I‘ve always found that new iPhones seem more resistive in the screens than used ones, just because the screen hasn’t been greased up with finger juices yet... Sounds a bit gross, but yeah.

This actually makes sense. Still though - weird! Hahahaha
 
I noticed that with my mini. Definitely less smooth than all my previous iPhones, including the 2020 SE.

It just feels different when touching the screen, not a huge issue, but yeah, I noticed.

Every year the screen is different with new technologies, so I guess that’s normal.
