Anyone now considering a Hackintosh computer after a hoehum update?

iatkos makes it more or less a joke to get Osx up and running on a PC

1. Partition

2. Install, choose what kernels you need (makes it obvious)

3. Installs Grub loader for you

4. done

Using iatkos or any other distro wont be a vanilla install.

M17x?

I'm running iDeneb 10.5.8 on my m17x, the only problem I've run into are:
Sound - VoodoHDA has some sort of bitrate/stream problem
Multiple Displays... Actually getting graphics up and running in general was a PITA

For what it's worth, I bought a quad 3.0 Ghz Psystar when they still existed... It has 10.5.8 with Final Cut Studio 3 and Adobe Master Collection 4 on it, the only thing that doesn't run smoothly is the screen saver- sometimes it asks for a password sometimes it doesn't. It has a 2TB RAID0 and a 500 gig boot drive, I kinda bought it to see how well it would produce Blu Ray Hd content since my macbook pro took too long to encode it and I have to say after about 8 months of smooth running, it's the best $699 bucks I have ever spent.
