Anyone of having iCloud and Gmail calendar in sync?

Title says it all. I have all my events in by iCloud calendar however recently got an amazon Echo and unfortunately this does not add to apples calendar, but works with google. So I'm looking to find a way that I can add an event to my google calendar and it will sync this to iCloud calendar. Is this possible?

Not quite about the sync part of it, but as an alernative (in case it might not have been considered or ruled out) you can simply add the Google calendar account to your device and be able to see (as well as edit, delete, and create) the events that are on it.

That seems to address the reverse (seeing iCloud calendar in Google).

Misread the post earlier on. I suspect the process is similar in a reverse way though by sharing the Google calendar url to be subscribed in iCloud. The issue is if you want to sync both ways just updating once...not sure thats feasible.
