Tomorrow there's a special activity challenge... Some of my friends got the notification about it on their watch yesterday, but up to now I haven't seen the notification on my phone or my watch.
I'm getting a little worried now, haha. I'm running iOS 12 and watchOS 5 beta, is it related?

Is this for the US only or world wide?

According to apple’s news release, it’s worldwide this time. It said “On September 1, Apple Watch users around the world who complete a walk, run or wheelchair workout of 50 minutes of more will earn an Activity app award and stickers for Messages inspired by national parks.”

I didn’t get it yet. I’m running iOS 12 beta 12 and watchOS beta 5.

Anyone else notice this?

Question about the challenge... I will be camping at 10,000' of elevation on the day of the challenge and I will not have cell service/coverage while up there for the weekend. Does anyone know if I still use my watch to do a walk/run without coverage will I still get "credit" for the activity, thus making me eligible for the National Parks award?

You should still get the award. When I run without my iphone the watch still tracks my activity when using the workout app.

Not sure about that. My wife has the badge (she is on iOS 11 / watchOS 4) and we are in Canada. I don’t have it as I’m on iOS 12 and watchOS 5.
When you say your wife has, you mean she had a Notification and has a "blank" placeholder badge?

Has anyone gotten the badge yet, especially any beta 12 users? Looks like it must be a beta 12 problem. I still have not had a Notification and there is no placeholder Badge. Sure would like to fill in this "blank" spot.

Have a bruised MCL and this will push the limits of what I can do (bought a new brace to help). Going to complete a slow 7 mile run so I can get credit. Going to be severely disappointed if I don't get the Badge.

Just finished 1 hours run at the gym. Unsurprisingly there’s no special badge shows up.

Me too! seems to be an iOS 12 problem... Got all of the previous ones but couldn't get this new one, so disappointed!

Hour run outside and NO badge. Make sure you use Feedback Assistant and send in a BR. This may be our only hope.

It's not showing up on my either. iOS 12 and WatchOS 4. But there is a placeholder on my iPhone 7 Plus which I haven't restored since moving to iPhone X last year. When the data sync for the rest of the day I guess it will show up on iPhone 7 Plus. Probably later on iPhone X. Happened with some of the monthly challenges.

Did a 50 min walk and got the achievment in the watch, not in the iPhone.

I rolled back from public iOS 12 beta to iOS 11 and the badge appeared in the award field. watchOS 4.

As a rather slow runner, this makes me laugh that you have to “slow run” 7 miles to make it last 50 minutes. 7 miles for me would put me in the hour and 20 minute range.

I think I’ll go for a bike ride today.

Feedback Assistant? She gawn.

Edit: actually, just gone from my home screens but appears when searched for.

It’s missing for me too. I’m guessing it will show up later as long as you have the workout logged in Health. I’ve had awards credited late before so I have hope it will be true this time.

Did the 50 minute workout on iOS12/watchOS5 and it's not showing up so far. Wondering if it will show up at a later date once GM or Full release come out since I did the workout...

I’m on 11.4 and got my badge after a 51 minute walk on the treadmill this morning. Showed up on watch immediately and on the phone within 5 minutes.

iOS 11.4 and no badge here either despite meeting the requirement. I did receive notification of the challenge seems like last week.
