Anyone order later?

I am not really into being a first adopter especially the first or second wave of shipping. I ordered mine and my husbands phone yesterday as a 10 year anniversary gift. I got him a 6 SG 16gb and I ordered the 6S+ SG 64gb from Verizon. He will get his tomorrow(surprised since I ordered so late) and mine is set to deliver on 10/14 which is fine with me. Did anyone else hold off on ordering?
 
I ordered late, too. Waited a week after pre-orders opened on the 12th. I pre-ordered online on the Saturday 19th with AT&T for an 6s Plus 64GB Space Gray and got an October 16th-23rd estimated shipping date. I was totally prepared to wait a month to receive my phone.

Today, I was notified it's on it's way and arriving tomorrow. Happy surprise, despite all the rumors of a shortage of the AT&T Plus model.

You'll probably get your Verizon phones earlier than the 14th as well, especially since you picked a Space Gray color.

Wow, that is great news! I guess we will see what happens with VZW. I am not in a hurry since I already have a 6 Plus but I wanted more storage. Don't get me wrong I also looking forward to the rest of the features as well. I look forward to playing with my husband's phone tomorrow lol.
 
I ordered an AT&T 128gb space grey iPhone 6s Plus on the morning of 9/14. So about two days after preorders started. I was given a delivery estimate of 10/19-10/26. I'm hoping I get it next week but not holding my breathe.

Hopefully you get it sooner than the estimated date. As a side note I wonder what the most popular configuration is?
 
I pre-ordered a 64GB with my telco on the 22nd and still managing to get mine by launch day based on the UPS tracking.

I think it depends upon the carriers agreements with Apple about how much warehouse stock they were allowed to stockpile vs Apple direct sales channel, if it wasn't for the uncertainty of my own carrier who's CEO admitted they'd rather push payment plans than contracts by Jan 2016 there wouldn't be such a pre-order surge based on customers with grandfathered plans on other carriers(ex: at&t iPhone unlimited data, VerizonWireless Americas Choice with unlimited Canada roaming, Cingular Family Nation 450/550 plans, etc).

Did you get the 6S or 6S+? My shipping just changed to 10/12. Lol
 
I ordered a 6S but it still tagged mine as Oct 15 due to back-order status yet it changed overnight. It might be Apple could be drop-shipping for a few telcos who made specific time-frame promises of pre-orders & orders.

A friend of mine on VerizonWireless was told there is some kind of telco underestimation of demand of certain sizes/colors. For example 16GB 6S/6S+ are showing delays on both GSM & CDMA versions yet Best Buy may have snagged the supply(Space & Silver) if carriers expected 64-128GB models to be more popular on pre-orders. This seems to almost mirror the iPhone 5S/6 chaos, Best Buy had a near-duopoly with Apple on 16GB models and telcos were crying foul.

Hmmm that is fascinating I was not aware of that but it's usually a crap shoot unless I use Apple directly. Lol
 
I ordered an AT&T 6S Plus on Friday 25th at 10:30am. I was quoted 5-10 business days. Then I got an email saying 10/23-10/30. Oh well.

Then Friday night I got an email saying shipped. Tracking number. Tracking indicates number received but package not yet so I don't have delivery date but I would expect this week.

6S Plus 64GB Space Grey AT&T.

I'm on att silver 6s plus 64gb

Says October 23 - 30

You guys are getting me hyped that mine might be like yours and come this week or so
 
I was going to skip this release until I split the screen off my 5 last weekend. I ordered the 64 gig Space Gray 6s 9/21 and got it mid-day 9/25. Ordered through AT&T.
 
Tried to get one in store and couldn't so I ordered a + 128 gb rose gold on apple on the 25th for att

10/23-10/30 estimate
 
Did pre-order the 16th, I believe. Had Oct 16th week delivery. ATT 6sPlus 128gb. Went into ATT store on 25th at 8am and they had no customers. They cx my pre-order and left with my new iPhone.

I think that's one the most available Plus models, as I also got that model shipped to me on launch day from AT&T when pre-ordering late (the 19th).

Amazing that you ordered on Friday and it's already shipped. Congrats roland.q, and good luck to you maleficent86 (I hope you get yours soon, too).
 
I ordered on launch day, because of the new verizon program that allowed me to upgrade earlier than my contract date. Otherwise I would have waited until my contract was up on October 17 to order. Should be here on Tuesday.
 
Ordered Gold 128GB with Apple on 9-27..they are saying it will ship in 3-4 weeks, tears...stuck using my old iPhone 5.
 
Ordered 6s Plus 128GB from Verizon on morning of 9/25. Order status has changed a couple times. Showing 11/2 delivery date
 
I ordered mine on Monday (9/21) night, got it on Friday (9/25). There were a ton of phones in stock at the Apple stores when I checked this morning.
 
Went to the AT&T friday morning. They ordered the silver 6S+ 128 for me. Saturday at 11AM it was sent to shipping. Fedex schedule states Tuesday Delivery.
