Anyone ordered a 27" CTO w/o SSD & it shipped?

My 27" BTO is scheduled to ship 6/15!
I ordered my BTO 3.4 Core i7 with 2GB vram and the combo ssd + 2TB hd the morning of the announcement. I have to wait over a month!

That would be the reason I didn't order an SSD as I originally intended. As long as Apple adds support for bootable Thunderbolt drives, having an external T-bolt SSD will be a more flexible solution in the future.
Hopefully those LaCie SSD RAID things will be around the same price as adding the 256GB SSD to the iMac would have been (~$600).

Does it say "Prepared for shipment" at least? Coz if it does, just hang on in there, Apple doesn't update the status right away.
Mine is similar to yours but w/ 2TB HDD and it's been picked up by FedEx at around 12pm PST. I am definitely getting it tomorrow.

Does apple deliver on Saturday? If I don't get it till Monday then I sorta feel I shouldn't have to pay the overnight shipping fee...
Damn, sorry to hear that. That really sucks, coz you ordered just 4 hours later than I did. Well, there's always a chance, the page just didn't get updated and it gets delivered on Friday. Otherwise, Monday is the earliest. I think FedEx has Saturday delivery option but it's extremely expensive.
mine doesn't even ship until 20 June
What about charges? Does Apple usually charges CC upfront or at the time of shipment?
