just curious what everyone is going to do for a case. looks like leather cases won't be out until Nov 6th. Might go with the clear case for now. Silicone ones never last for me with all the in and out of my pockets, the case deteriorates.

Caudabe Sheath as always for me. The clear Apple case is gross with the MagSafe white circle on the back. I might pick up a Caudabe Lucid Clear as well, but I'm more of a Sheath guy.
I usually end up buying several cases to suit my mood. I ordered a red silicone case to start. I will wait on the leather ones to see how they look, but I wasn't impressed with my iPhone X Apple leather case. It didn't wear, it looked dirty and grungy. I will be looking at Saddleback Leather to see what they come out with.
I just noticed the Otterbox cases for sale at the Apple site. Ordered a black one. Unlike the Apple black, this one looks like real black. Me like.
Personally, I don't like cases, especially bulky ones. If money were no object, I would forego a case. Last year, I went with a case from mnmlcase. Love it, as it's barely noticeable. Add a glass screen protector, and boom; I almost don't have a case.
I’m going to see if the new design makes it any easier to go caseless. But I’ll probably get the silicone case eventually
I got the Apple clear case but I agree with you that the white circle ruins the look. I wish it’s not there; I’ll probably look for other clear cases that are MagSafe compatible later.
I just got a cheap clear Ringke fusion from amazon (it was 50% off so that's a great short term solution). Don't quite know what I wanna use in the long term though...those apple silicone ones or even the clear one look tempting but I gotta see them in person first.
Where did you find 50% off? I see $8.99 down from $11.99. I ask because I wondered if different companies were offering deals right now?
The apple clear case has the imprint for the megsafe which looks terrible.

Was thinking the same thing. I like the clear case to be totally clear. I get the magsafe clear one can't be, but I got the Plum silicone case for that.

I might try it caseless. The XS Max (my current phone) is the first one I've felt the need to put a case on (see price tag), and even though I'm running with a thin TPU case, it kinda ruins the feel of the phone.
If I do opt for protection, I will probably get something like the Spigen Hybrid, because TPU is bad with yellowing over time.
