Right, I have (sorry had) a Drive and Play. A few months ago some little **** broke into the car and took it, well they left the 'brian'. I contacted the manufacturer and the cost of a new control knob and display was almost the same as a new unit! Anyway I have been thinking. The Drive and Play has an Aux input. Do you need to use the display and knob to set the aux input as active. If not then I could just plug the iPod into the aux input and just buy a new battery adaptor and it should be up and running.

If anyone could check this out it would be fantastic.

Thanks.
