If I upgrade from my iMac Pro this is where I'm leaning. Is anyone else going to pair the two of these?

I would think I will. I have 2 XDRs on my 16” i9. It’s not good enough - the fan goes all the time and it freezes a lot. Just have to decide which Studio I’m going for. Leaning towards the base Ultra with 128 ram and 2tb storage. The 16 extra GPU cores are really expensive - the premium is around $1000. Probably not worth it.

Yes... Bought the XDR in December with the hopes of a refreshed mini (didn't happen) or the Studio (yay!) in early 2022. What a happy accident the Studio is silver just like the XDR....

Yes, my XDR is waiting for the maxed out Studio… also paired with Logi 4k cam and a couple of KEF speakers. Much better than the Studio Display, I couldn’t go back to 27” not that I’m used to 32!

I will be. I've been running the Pro Display XDR with my M1 Mac mini for the past year. It's "passable", but certainly not high performance. So I traded in the M1 mini for a Studio Ultra. I'm thinking combined with the XDR, it will be a match made in heaven :)

Yeah, I ordered 3 studio displays and if they come out with a better XDR I’ll probably swap out a studio for that for the center one. I like the thought of a built in cam and speakers to keep the wire clutter down.
