just wondering is there anyone got an iPhone 4 with IOS 4.0.2 installed from AT&T recently?

i just placed an order last night, hoping to get 4.0 or 4.0.1.

I think most people are still getting 4.0.1 and 4.0..... there was a thread around here tho and only a few people reported getting 4.0.2

My wife's iphone comes in tomorrow ill report back for ya...

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A400 Safari/6531.22.7)

One of the guys I work with got his last week, and it came with OS 4.0.1.

4.0.1 came out Jul 15, I got my phone on the 4th so within 3 weeks, you will definitely get the upgraded model. So at this point you are probably screwed unless you can find a phone in stock from a store. AT&T basically ships brand new Apple phones from the factory.

No longer true. There are lots of iPhone 4's sitting in Apple distribution centers. AT&T draws from these centers. Plus they have plenty in their stores unless you live in smaller market areas. Apple forced AT&T to wait for phones from Apples plant in China only in the first month after release, so as to insure that Apple would have the upper hand. Now with slowing demand Apple is treating AT&T fairly.

AT&T just inform me that i wont get my iPhone 4 til 3 week from today, so i guess im screwed lol

It must be the major metro cities like my area that get all the phones. That sucks, Apple could do better than that. Yet then again if they did, it would blow their cover. They love to manipulate the customers into believing that iPhones are in short supply. What a load of BS.

Uhm ya, I am sure AT&T put people on 2-3 week waiting lists all way through June-July-August (early, not sure bout mid) instead of shipping the phone from the fully stocked distribution center just so people believe the iPhones are in short supply.

Yes, ordered and received in 1 week and mine came with 4.0.1 but the guy at the store last night who picked up his had 4.0.2

Ordered mine last night and it was 5-10 days. Praying it's got 4.0.1 but we'll see.

Many stores have them now. Just go to a store.

Got mine last week from the Apple store, was 4.0.1. Just walked in waited about an hour, that's all.

One of my coworkers ordered a 16GB from AT&T on Thursday, it shipped Friday and he got it yesterday--with 4.0.2.
