Hopefully it doesn't break after a year or two like the old Smart Keyboard.I’m gonna use it every single day for years and years. So I’ll get my value out of it
More complexity and features means more ways it can break. Just wait for the new threads about magic keyboard issues incoming.Hopefully it doesn't break after a year or two like the old Smart Keyboard.
All of this negativity does nothing to answer my original question. If you have the 11 inch IPP, will you be getting the new Magic Keyboard? Please keep to the question.
thanks.

Allegedly I’ve heard people, Thats why you just re-buy a new one and repackage and return the old one. HypotheticallyHopefully it doesn't break after a year or two like the old Smart Keyboard.

AppleCare+With the material they're using this won't be lasting years
Bend Tests are gimmicky and dont depict real world usage, but there is a benefit in seeing someone intentionally push a product beyond its limits. And with something like this where those hinges are so thin and will be moving so much I’m fine with trading clicks just to see someone else break it before I do.I’m you will see the stupid bend tests to try and snap it like you do with the phones/tablets.
Yes, I will definitely be getting the new Magic Keyboard. All of this negativity does nothing to answer my original question. If you have the 11 inch IPP, will you be getting the new Magic Keyboard? Please keep to the question.

I just got a 2020 iPad Pro 11 Inch, and yes I ordered the Magic Keyboard for it, and use I will use, but I may return it.
I purchased my iPad Pro from Best Buy on 3/28. Not sure what my ISP has to do with anything.Who did you purchase the iPad from? Who is your ISP?
Just order the cellular version from Apple and you have your choice of carrier when you set it up.I am unsure of what I need to do to insure a. iPad purchase from Apple works on Verizon.
Ordered for the 2020 11” iPad Pro. I also have a 2018 12.9” but I have a trackpad for that. It will probably be just a kitchen computer from now on. I need the new magic keyboard for portability. We’ll see how it goes.
My thought is to make the 2018 12.9” the kitchen computer though honestly I will probably sell it. So much is up in the air right now. The 12.9” is much better for my use if I use it to work remotely because I can use it as a thin-client to my Mac Pro located in my home office. The larger screen helps quite a bit. But given that my most likely next gig is working from home, the remote thing is less important. I assume at some point I will be able to go out for coffee or lunch in which case the smaller screen is more portable and good enough if I need to remote in.Which will be the kitchen computer?
I have the 2020 11. I’m thinking no because I mainly use this as a tablet. And I have a nice MacBook Pro for heavy typing that I need a few times a year. In the 11 I can type using the small keyboard. I might get the Smart Keyboard since I can flip i back and use it as a tablet. But the magic keyboard had a few cons thats hard to live with. Like the heavy weight isn’t good. And lack of flipping the keyboard around to the back isn’t good. All of this negativity does nothing to answer my original question. thanks.
