I print from my phone or iPad quite often. Not photos. Typically documents.

It works great for .pdfs. However, it's not the best for Word documents, as iOS's converter tends to muck a few things up. But typically if I print anything like that it's just a document from work that I need to quickly read at home, and not necessary something I'm turning in as a final project.

My Kodak 2150 won't print from my phone.
What's a good printer/fax that will?

Any AirPrint capable printer.

If you have a networked printer and a dedicated Mac that is always on, you could install an app called AirPrintActivator which will allow you to print to ANY printer connected to your home network. You just need to have a computer on all the time.
