Anyone proficient with Tweetbot?

I'm not getting notifications from the app and I'm unable to figure why. I'm not sure if its a problem with the app or its something I'm missing. I want to receive notifications of the tweets of people I follow. I have the latest build of Tweetbot and iOS 8.4. Using the Iphone Plus. Phone has never been jailbroken. Attached are the program's notification options and also notifications settings of the app under iOS settings.

Thanks in advance for any help you are able to provide.

The iOS version of Tweetbot does not do badging for tweets of people your follow. The badging is only for Mentions and DMs.

The function that you want does work on the OS X version, but not the iOS version.

No badging is OK but no notifications too? or did you mean only badging? I'm surprised coz the official twitter app does this. Tweetbot is $5 and I was expecting better from it compared to the official app :|

No notifications at all. If you follow any number of people, you would be getting notifications constantly. Essentially, your timeline is your notification list.

I've not used the "official" twitter app - are you saying that you get a notifications for EVERY tweet that hits your timeline? Those are tweets from people that you follow. Wow. *mind blown*
 
Yup. I dont follow many though. About half a dozen and they post like 2-3 times a day so its not that bad.
