I ordered it too! For me, the white one’s a bit too eye-catching, and I find the blue one looks more professional and understated – it’s a matter of taste.
I had the white one years ago and, although I loved it, it stood out too much on my wrist. But I adore the material – it feels different, premium without quite having that Hermès jewellery-like finish or the look of polished natural titanium.
In fact, I’ve noticed there’s little interest in it (because of the price, I imagine) and more of a focus on the white one.
I’ve ordered it with the blue sports strap as well. I currently own the Hermès S11 and, although I adore Hermès straps, the dramatic price rise across their entire range, coupled with the arrival of the ceramic model, has given me the perfect excuse to switch. What’s more, I’m increasingly seeing my watch as a ‘Whoops’, so the loops or sport straps seem perfect to me. I plan to keep my collection under control and stick to straps in shades of blue – a pair for sport and a more classy pair, such as the new magnetic loops.
