iPhone 11 Pro Anyone really excited?

I know we probably didn't get the features we wanted this year and there were certainly drawbacks.

But is anyone still really excited? You get a BRAND NEW phone and potentially a new color and an improved camera as well as enhanced battery life.

I don't see so many excited people ready to preorder tomorrow morning. Let's get the excitement going!!

Which phone do you think well sell out the fastest?

Yeah I've noticed the same thing....I'm going to get up at place my order at 7 am CST (I live in Virginia but I'm in Texas for work this week)....I'm justifying getting the new phone despite not many new features b/c of the camera. We are going to Egypt for vacation in 2 weeks and I figure that justifies having a nicer camera :)

I’m cautiously optimistic. Coming from an 8 Plus after having been an annual upgraded prior, this will be my first true run on the latest form factor. I’m still debating on silver or space grey for the Pro Max.

If any phones sell out, I think it will be the Midnight Green models. People are looking for change and Apple did a nice job with the color. I think all of the rest will have more than enough stock.

yeah I'm ordering the Pro Max in Green....
 
I hope no one’s excited. This year’s iPhones are boring.

More specifically, I don’t think anyone should be rushing to preorder a silver 64GB iPhone 11 Pro Max, even though this would increase the chances of me finding one for a trade-in on the 21st - not that I’m interested, of course.

I am excited to not be shelling out more money this year. I see no reason to upgrade my S4 or XS. Happy to keep them for another year.

I bought an XS Max last year, but seeing the prices on eBay for those, makes upgrading an easy choice as values are still decent

I think it’s because they ruin the release of this years phone by talking about all the wonderful stuff we’ll get next year, making this year’s phone seem lacking by comparison. Then you get to next year and the same thing happens again. Always chasing something that’s a year away. What Apple needs to do is give us next years phone now. They could do it if they really wanted to.

I used a note 9 this past year and an 8 Plus the year before and since about 2 weeks again now so I'm excited. It'll be a nice upgrade. The swipe/gestures on the note 9 made me realize how much I prefer that over using buttons so I can't wait to get an iPhone with it. Getting the 64gb 11 pro since the screen size and overall size are better for me personally and storage isn't an issue yet .
 
I purchased a 7 Plus a couple weeks ago then I found out the new iPhones were coming out so I returned it in hopes for getting an 11. Looking deep into the 11 Pro Max which is awsome.

That XDR display is a big jump for Apple

Its always been the little things
 
New phone is what I’m excited about. What I’m not excited about is waking up at 5am. Apple gave us west coasters the shaft.

Whats worse? waking up at 2AM, 3AM or 5AM? Well not actually, you have to wake up close to 4:45AM, drink some coffee and get your mind sharpened for some quick finger action.

They're roping me in with the new design of the 11 Pro Max aesthetics... SMH!!!

I said vehemently that I wasn't upgrading, but I'm just as big into aesthetics as I am function. Hmmm, what to do!?

Should I join the perpetual yearly upgrade crowd... or stick it out with upgrading every 3 years. Too, if you think about it, you're getting $60 off with Apple TV+ thrown in.

Sigh... I'm excited nevertheless whichever direction I decide to go in.

I’ve got insomnia so it would not have mattered if preorders were still 3 am for me.

It will be interesting to see what I end up ordering after no sleep. On Friday the 13th no less. :eek: With a full moon later. Spooky. And a black cat will even cross my path because a black cat crosses my path every day, because one lives here.

I haven’t had insomnia in ages. I’ll be very punchy so it will definitely be exciting as I may stray from what I deem the sensible choice of the green iPhone 11 and get a green 11 Pro. So, will it be lettuce or spinach? Who knows.

But yeah it’s exciting. :D
