iPhone 11 Pro Anyone really excited?

Also got an iPad Air 3 and new headphones arriving today, so it's like Christmas.

Yeah there seemed to be no problem. My husband managed to get an order placed for the Midnight Green Pro Max with no issues. I got the Midnight Green Pro Munchkin with ease and that was with me even using a different credit card than what I normally use for the Apple Store.

I was waffling between the 11 Pro and Green iPhone 11 to the last possible moment. If I don’t like the 11 Pro I will simply exchange. But I decided I’d spring for the extra lens since I prioritize the cameras in upgrading.

I got screwed by the preorder process as usual. Ended up with 9/27-10/1. Others seem to have done better. Never any luck here.

I actually do fall into that category, unfortunately, as my current 4yo iPhone 6s Plus has developed a hardware problem; so yeah I'm upgrading, but don't need to pre-order.

I'm a photo enthusiast, so all the camera upgrades do make it quite a worthy upgrade for me; but I'm not excited to upgrade, because I was banking on keeping my 6S+ until next year.

I’m not excited, I figured the 2019 iPhones would have very small changes to last year iPhones and Apple proved me right so I went for the XS Max last month and thanks to trade ins, I got it for a steal.

I am super excited. I am excited to fill all 256GB of my Midnight Green Pro Max with 4K/60 videos of my 3 month old. I am super excited to finally have a night mode, especially since this one is automatic and you don't need to switch to it or turn it on. I am SUPER excited for the better battery life when I travel for work. One other thing that a lot of people aren't talking about is that, while the XS and XS Max played back HDR content, now the Pro and Pro Max are up to the HDR10 and Dolby Vision specs. Netflix on that Pro Max screen is going to be extra spicy. I am excited for the improved Face ID with better angles, especially when working at a desk. I am really hoping it can catch your face at a 45 degree angle.

It needs to let you unlock in landscape like the older plus models that had Touch ID. Dunno why that’s so hard for them to do.

let’s all keep in mind that Apple is in a transition phase. They’re more focused on the services end (Game Arcade, Apple TV+
Apple credit card etc) as opposed to the hardware end because there is a lot of money
In services
Hopefully they remember that without the latest and greatest hardware the services are worthless (at least to me and I’m sure many others)
