Anyone recommend any good photo transfer apps for iPhone?

Basically, to transfer 20GB of photos off an iPhone onto an NAS.

(Please don't recommend iCloud...)

iCloud is convenient when you need to do this repeatedly.

But if you don’t, then why not just use the USB lightning connection and import them into your tool of choice?

Photos is pretty good and then you can drag and drop whereever you want to store them.

I've been happily using PhotoSync to send to a Mac-- it apparently works with (some) NAS too.

If you are not a fan of iTunes or the Native Photos app to backup your photos or iPhone you might consider iMazing which is essentially a backup app but it gives you a lot more control over the data on your phone. You can open individual apps on the phone and export or import content to whatever destination you like eg your desktop or another drive.
