Lol, yeah I'm THAT guy, well at least I might be. I scored a pretty good deal on a black SS series 2, but my heart was kind of set on the silver SS model. Now I'm thinking I might grab another one so I can swap back and forth.

Also on the same topic, how hard would it be to keep everything synced up to a single iPhone with 2 AW's? Would it confuse the heck out of the iPhone, or would it just keep everything in sync between all 3 devices?

I'm thinking of getting a series 2 SS too in addition to my SB series 2. Syncing is easy. Hard part is deciding which one to wear on a day.

I have two series 2 (stainless steel and space black stainless steel). I also have two original generations (SS and SBSS also that I'm trying to sell). But I wear one at night (usually the SBSS) and one during the day (SS).

You might find additional information on this thread also.

I own multiple Stainless models, including a black stainless. The Watch App will switch between your different Watch's you use from The "Auto switch" feature. You will see this in the Watch application, near the top. It will remember your previous settings.

Thanks Cwosign for this idea of wearing my extra to bed for sleep analysis. Such a great idea.

What kind of deal did you score on the Black SS?

$500 out the door on what appears to be a mint one, but I haven't received it yet.

Excellent idea about using one for sleep!

I have two SS42 Series 2's. Space Black for everyday and standard for evening wear. Seems to work seamlessly with my phone

So I don't have to re-pair and I don't lose Apple pay? I was reading this in another thread, but it's from 2015:

Yeah, you'll have to unpair & pair everytime you swap watches. A pain.

Hopefully Apple will add the ability to pair two watches at once in a future update, I have a SB that I have to swap bands to a Sportband and cover with a case when at work. Would love to be able to buy a Sport for work/training and use the SB at all other times.

No need to unpair and repair every time. I have 4 watches paired with my phone and it automatically detects which one is on my wrist.

I originally had two Apple Watches, but ended up returning one because having two watches wiped out all of my activity achievements. The watches still thought they were there, but the iPhone Activity app said I had none. Because of this, I couldn't earn any achievements either -- it would do nothing when I completed one. So, I had to wipe out all of my activity data including workout history by restoring my watch and my iPhone.

Not a great experience for me..

That quote of me was correct at the time, then Apple granted my wish and I did indeed buy a Sport for work/house.

Both live on stands on the bedside unit, I can swap at will....works great.

I have two myself. For the most part, the flipping back and forth is smooth. Occasionally, some apps misbehave and crush your battery on one of the watches but not the other. That has been the only thing I have noticed...What I experience normally is about 10% every two hours...with the weirdness I was getting 15% an hour...I sometimes have to turn a watch off and back on and then the battery is fine.

The next question of course is...you have two watches and then get a new phone:)

+1

I was considering the same idea. Use my original Watch Sport for sleep analysis and my SB SS S2 for everyday use. I can load Sleep App and turn off the wake screen on wrist raise / crown up on my "sleep" Watch for night use.

I have two as well. Original stainless steel and an original gold aluminum.

At some point will likely add either a space black stainless series 2 or space gray aluminum series 2 to the collection.

Yeah I have 3. Had the series 0 SS since launch, bought a series 2 Nike then got a good deal on the forums on the SS SB series 0 I had always looked at. I mostly still wear the SS with the bracelet at work but occasionally the Nike with a leather loop that matches my shirt. The space black I wear on weekends and nights, mostly because Im sheepish about coworkers noticing and saying "wait... you have *three* apple watches??"

Just picked up the Space Black last week. It looks way more elegant in person. Pending the lighting conditions, it almost changes black hues. Really sharp.

After reading the title I thought you wore 2 watches at the same time :D
Changing bands is easy and fast, so I don't need to have two models. In my opinion the space black sport model is ok even if you need to wore it with a suit, as long as you use the right band.

If it wasn't that easy to change the bands, I likely wouldn't own 25 Plus of them. I like to diversify.

Five total. I have four 42 MM Stainless and one 42MM black stainless. 25 Watch bands to suit. Good to know I'm not the only weird Apple loving, Tech Geek aficionado.
