I'm looking on Ebay now for iPod touch 4g cases. Came across one simple black silicone one for 99 cents. Seller is bakeepstore (732) 99% feedback. He's got Black, Pink, Green, Red, Blue, and Clear/white I believe.

I just wonder if they could possibly have the dimensions correct?

In any case, I just ordered two of them. 99 cents each. I got a red and a black. In case one fits better than the other (I've seen this with cheap dollar cases for the iPhone 4).

I will post my thoughts when they arrive.

I ordered this one last night: ebay link.

I'll let you know how it fits. It's just going to be a holdover until I can get a TPU case.

Looks like the TPU cases are already out: ebay link.

That's the type I want to get eventually. Not sure I want to risk $11 (w/ shipping to Canada) without a guarantee that it will fit, since I'm guessing they designed the mold from leaked specifications.

Yeah, they look pretty accurate from the pictures, but you never know. Rolling the dice on $1 is one thing, $11 is a whole different story.

Wish I could trade in all these iPhone 4 cases I have laying around!

    Looks pretty nice.

Now we need someone to test out the TPU cases for us.

I went ahead and bought this TPU case as well, which is a little less than $3 shipped. I'm a little more unsure about this case as the page doesn't have very good pictures, but we will see how it goes.

Ashopone is a pretty good Hong Kong seller. I bought a bunch of iPhone 4 cases from him. Not the best quality, but definitely worth the 99 cents each without a doubt. I just ordered 5 silicone cases from him and they shipped today. Should have them in 9 days or so.

I just received the TPU case from eBay. I'm very happy with it!

The material is perfect, and is clear and white, not at all like the greyish looking picture they have on eBay. You can see in the pictures that the sleep and volume buttons seem to be a little offset from the actual buttons, but it's not a big deal at all.

My only gripe is that it covers right up to the USB connection (you can see it in the 2nd picture, how the case goes right up to the left of the USB port), and it sort of blocks the USB cable. I can still plug it in and it works, but one side will be sticking out more than the other. Not a big deal, and it's not a big deal to take the case off.

Overall, well worth the less than $3 spent on it.

Thanks for the pics! Makes me feel better about the one I just ordered last night. I paid 4 bucks more than you did but I bought it from a seller I've dealt with many itmes before on eBay. THe difference between your case and the case I bought, though, is that they seem to have [already?] fixed hte USB cable issue.

    Thanks for the images again!

My silicone case I mentioned above hasn't arrived yet (though my iPod did arrive today). After reading the above I bought a TPU case (ebay link ).

I decided not to get one with a big single opening at the bottom. I'm worried the thin bar across the glass edge will be to weak/flexible. So I got the above linked one which has three separate holes. I'll let you know my impressions when it arrives in a couple of weeks.

I'm interested inthis case, is the seller trustworthy? If he is, I'm ordering it.

My case arrived today. The fit is near perfect. The bumps for the volume buttons are placed about a millimetre higher than the actual buttons.

From an inch away it has a solvent smell, but from 3 inches away I can't smell it. Overall a great case for a buck.
