    I'm downloading it at the moment and would love to play with the simulator, anyone know any books that will be released for iPad dev?

    It's just like the iPhone except what is described in the documentation. If it's a legit copy, you can get the differences on http://developer.apple.com/iphone/ at the top right, where you went to V3.2.
