I traded in my 13 pro max for the 16 pro max, but definitely could have kept it. The only thing I notice and appreciate is that this one seems a little lighter, but other than that, my old 13 pro max was great. Even the battery life was still great even though I abused it from day 1 by exclusively charging it wirelessly for the last 3 years.

Same here. I'm at 84% and almost exclusively wireless charging. I do a lot of ~ 2 hour drives on the weekends and use wireless CarPlay. For longer drives I'll use a cord. When it is bedtime the phone is usually down to ~ 20% on an average day.

If something happened to this I'd get a 16. I'll probably either get a new 17 or get the battery swapped this time next year. Going to wait and see what changes are made to the 17 after we have a year of AI development.

Still happily using my 12 Pro Max, battery max capacity shows 89%. I'm a pretty light user, although always connected to CarPlay when driving (my VW has wireless carplay and charging). Just don't see anything to make me want a new phone and it's nice to have one that's paid off. No plans to upgrade as long as it's viable.

I have a 13 Pro Max. No point in wasting money in yet another small incremental upgrade. Phone still feels brand new. I'll replace the battery if it goes under 80%, it's at 84% currently. Will have to be impressed next year to upgrade.

First iPhone Feb 2022 was the 13 ProMax, still using at 89% battery. Was on Android since the very beginning. The 13PM is running very well, have had a few issues with message notifications but am working through this. Have Apple Care Plus and when battery goes to 79% will get a new battery or if I have to pay for one beforehand will do so. Impressed with the phone big time!

I was until my 16PM landed last week; it was faultless, at 89% battery and like new...

TBH the upgrade has fallen flat; bar the better cameras and dynamic island, I'm not noticing anything else etc

Plus the Alpine Green was a superb colour!

I love my Alpine Green 13PM. It's a keeper for 2 to 3 more years.

I recently went from a 15 Pro Max to a 16 Pro. I missed the larger display and battery life, so switched to a 16 Pro Max.

However, I can’t help but feel like all iPhone models (particularly the Pro models, as I’ve never went with the “regular” ones) have been the same since the iPhone 12 Pro through now.

I’m wondering if this 16 Pro Max is worth $50 a month for the next 24 months. I’m thinking of going back to an older iPhone model that I can buy cash and just waiting to see if the 17 Pro/Air is worth the upgrade.

I’m thinking of getting a 13 Pro or Pro Max, mainly because I like the Alpine Green color. Is anyone using either of these and if so, how is it holding up in 2024?

The Pacific Blue is probably my favorite color iPhone ever, but 12 Pro/Pro Max might be a little too old.
I have 13 pro, my battery life is 78% which is ok to last the whole day but I'm looking to upgrade to 16 pro for better features.

13 PM green user here, 90% capacity. Works just as great as the day I got it. Silicon 3rd party case & screen protector so still in mint condition. Purchased just after the 14 series came out. Will use it till it dies. Not interested in any ai stuff
