Can't believe the tax man is giving you money back. I just received my payslip and cry every time when I see how much tax and insurance I pay each month.
As we in the UK don't get nice little treats like that I'm just wondering how much (don't need an exact figure that is to personal) you expect to get back.

if you mean what do i get back for the tax relief check, according to the worksheet i am getting a $600 check.

How much (%) do you get taken away for tax? I get roughly 30% taken away every month. I thought that was pretty high...
for 2007 i paid about 16% to federal taxes. not sure if this is better or worse than most, but i do know owning your own business has a lot of advantages
With tax and national insurance I pay around 32% of my salary each month to the tax man.
