Anyone suffering updater's remorse?

Not exactly remorse here, but I certainly go through some frustration at the tedium of working around some issues.

having remorse over updating to Yosemite

Yosemite is beautiful but when I close my MacBook Pro and reopen it later the system often crashes. This has rarely happened before. I wish I had waited for a later release.

Well, I wasn't until last night when it took me 10 minutes to think I had saved an Excel file, and then it crashed and I had to search to find an autosave and recreate part of it today. I have to have enough stability for work. The other things, I can flex on.
