iPhone 12 mini Anyone switched from 12 Mini to 12 Pro Max? How are you liking the phone?

I’m using my phone more and more and my Mini can barely get me through the day. I love my Mini, but sometimes I feel like I could use more screen real estate. All in all I’m considering upgrading to the Pro Max. I feel like the better battery, bigger screen and an extra camera would be a really big improvement. Anyone switched from the Mini to the Pro Max and if so how are you liking it? Especially the size of the phone.

I have a mini and a Pro Max right now. Just like you, I find the mini excellent but wanted more battery and bigger screen.

Let me say it like this: the pro max is awesome. Clearly the best in the current lineup.

But… it’s big. Like in, really big. And heavy. I’ve had max phones before but the weight of this thing is doing my hands in after long periods of using it.

It’s great when sitting or standing still, but using it on the move makes it more of a nuisance.

So I did something. I have a 12 Pro coming tomorrow. It’ll still give me bigger screen real estate and better battery, without being as unwieldy as the pro max.

You won’t be able to efficiently use the pro max one handed if you’re used to that with the mini. It really is a two handed phone.

The 12 Mini fits as much on screen as the old 11 Pro (5.8” model), and pretty much the same as the 12” and 12” Pro.

It’s really not bad in terms of fitting content, but things do look a bit smaller.

I don’t have one (but I bought one for my wife), but I think they’re great, and will consider the 13” Mini next time, along with the 13” Pro.
